What we collect when you order water from us, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
On this page
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Aquamena Water Treatment LLC ("Aquamena", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates and part of the Arabian Everest Trading Group, Dubai. Our correspondence address is P.O. Box 14301, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data we handle when you visit this website, contact us by phone or WhatsApp, place an order, receive a delivery from us, or hold a business account with us. It does not cover websites or services operated by anyone else that we may link to.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver water to you and to keep an accurate record of having done so.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
4. How we use it
- To take, confirm, schedule, deliver and adjust your water orders.
- To plan delivery routes and tell drivers where to go and what to collect.
- To track returnable bottles and dispensers issued to you.
- To take payment, issue coupon books, and raise and settle invoices.
- To answer your questions and resolve complaints.
- To keep the records we are required to keep for tax, food safety and audit purposes.
- To tell you about changes to your delivery, our service, or our prices.
- To improve this website and understand how it is used.
We will only send you marketing messages if you have asked for them or are an existing customer, and every such message will tell you how to stop them. Stopping marketing does not stop delivery notifications, which are part of the service.
5. Our legal basis
We process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (taking and fulfilling your order), compliance with a legal obligation (tax, food safety and record keeping), legitimate interests (running and securing our business, preventing fraud, improving service) and consent (optional marketing, and non-essential cookies). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
6. WhatsApp and phone orders
Most of our orders arrive by WhatsApp or telephone. When you message us on WhatsApp, your message and your mobile number reach us through WhatsApp's own service, which is operated by Meta and governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy. We do not control how WhatsApp handles data in transit. Once a message reaches us, this policy applies to it.
We keep order-related messages as part of the order record. Please do not send us card numbers, passwords or identification documents over WhatsApp.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only where it is needed to run the service:
- Our own drivers and operations staff — delivery details, in order to deliver.
- Service providers — accounting, IT, hosting, and communications providers acting on our instructions under confidentiality terms.
- Payment and banking providers — to take and reconcile payment.
- Auditors and certification bodies — where records must be produced for a food safety or quality audit.
- Government authorities — where we are required by UAE law to provide it.
- A purchaser — if the business or part of it is sold or reorganised, subject to the same protections.
8. How long we keep it
Order, delivery and payment records are kept for as long as required by UAE commercial and tax law, and then deleted or anonymised. Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for a short period and then removed. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to your account.
9. How we protect it
We use access controls, secure storage and staff confidentiality obligations appropriate to the size of our business, and we limit access to those who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us over the internet or by messaging app.
Your data is held in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers, including WhatsApp and our website host, may process data outside the UAE. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable level of protection.
10. Your rights
Subject to UAE law, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- delete data we no longer need to keep;
- stop using your data for marketing;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw a consent you previously gave.
Write to us using the details in section 14. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity first. We may keep records we are legally required to keep even after a deletion request.
11. Cookies and this website
This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. What they are and how to turn them off is set out in our Cookie Policy.
12. Children
This website and our service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our service or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
